Activities—Brandon Costner
reported that anyone who has suggestion for 2003 activities to please contact
Brandon Costner.

Ceremonies—Peter McAnulty
reported that they are preparing teams for Dixie and will start practice soon.

Cook Team—Paul Sisk reported
that anyone who would like to join the cook to team please contact Paul
Sisk.

Dance Team—No

Drum Team—Joe Haney reported
that we meet every Wednesday at the LDS church in Lincolnton at 8:00 and will
meet at CIS to go pick out new shirts. Question can be sent to Joe Haney.

Service—Curtis Bradley reported
that service is ready for another good year. Allen Thompson reported about
Webelos Woods.
·
Camp Promotions—Mark Gantt
reported that camp numbers have been submitted with a 24.1% increase, which
puts us in good place for the E. Urner Goodman Camping Award
·
Membership Development—Brendan
Haney reported thanks to Ben Cook for his help on the elangomat shirts. Anyone
who would like to help on the committee please contact Brendan Haney or
Charles Garwood

Training— Daniel Thompson
reported that any questions or comments can be sent to Daniel

Communications—Jeff Rasmussen
reported that the Elogam is out and there will be another coming
soon.

reported that we meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at First
Baptist in Shelby.

reported that we are planning some trips and possible a Historic Trial hike.
We still meet at 1st Methodist in Conover.

that we meet the 3rd Thursday of each month.
Old Business
·
The 2003 Dixie Flap #4 was voted
on and approved.
·
The 2003 Activities Patches set
#1 were voted on and approved.
·
Thomas White made a motion to
table the motion involving Committee Service Award, the motion was seconded
and approved. A friendly amendment was made to the amendment and was seconded
and approved. Brendan Haney made a motion to table the motion until spring
Fellowship, the motion was seconded and passed
·
Allen Thompson and Kirk Setzer
gave comments on the pump house expansion and the Council has approved the
plans and that construction can begin.
·
Thomas White made a motion to
sale the left over patch auction patches at lodge events, the motion was
seconded and passed.
·
A motion was made to use the
proceeds from these patch sales for the pump house expansion project, the
motion was seconded and passed.
·
Jeff Whisenant gave comment
about CIS and said that the website is know up and running. Anyone who would
like to be on staff should contact Jeff Whisenant or Ben Cook.
New Business
·
Jeff Rasmussen made a motion to
create a Chapter Service Award the motion was seconded a motion to amend line
three so that it would read you assist your chapter either with Unit
Elections, Camp Promotions, the call out ceremony, or serve as an elangomat.
The motion was seconded and failed. The motion to create the award was passed.
·
Mark Gantt gave comments about
Unit Elections and Camp Promotions.
·
Curtis Bradley made a motion to
appoint service chairmen for each chapter, the motion was seconded and failed.
·
Raymond Leatherman reported that
a meeting would be held with the committee chairmen to plan for Webelos
Woods.
·
Ben Cook made a motion to
adjourn, the motion was seconded and passed.
·
