was made to correct Allowelendam chapter meets at FUMC not First Presbyterian.
The motion was seconded and passed Under new Business under Ed de Torres the
statement should read Arrowmen Service Award not Service Arrowmen Award the
motion was seconded and passed the minutes, the motion was made to approve the
minutes as amended. The motion was seconded and approved.

$10,645.18 in checking, $23,501.81 in savings.

reported that Winter Banquet will be held in Morganton on the 1st
weekend of January, Location and Catering have been arranged we do still need
to follow up on this.

reported that we are waiting to get started with our supplies and are hoping

reported that we did boost camp attendance by 20%.

reported that the Elogam will be printed prior to Winter Banquet and that we

reported that they meet 2nd Thursday of the month, they are
planning our Fall Camporee and others events. For more information contact

reported they meet at the Troop 166 scouthut in Mooresville at 6:30 every 3rd
Wednesday of the month.

reported that they meet the 1st Thursday of the month at FUMC in
Conover. This month they will be working having a pilgrim like meal to pay
homage to the Thanksgiving gods, any questions can be sent to Mark Gantt.

Old Business
·
Thomas White reported that the
19th Annual Carolina’s Indian Seminar will be held at Mitchell
Community College on the weekend of Jan 24-26, 2002 at a cost to attend of $28
per person, a cost of $14 for Eswau staff, a cost of $14 to the instructors
teaching one class and a no fee to those teaching two or more class. Over 500
participates are expected with a total budget of $12,000. Ben Cook will serve
as Seminar Chief and Jeff Whisenant as Seminar Advisor.

John Garwood reported on the new
storage building and made a motion to spend up to $7,000 to construct a lodge
storage building adjacent to the pump house behind the dinning hall using the
plans provided by Robert White. The motion was seconded and passed.

Joe Slade reported that we have
4 youth and 3 adults attending Arrowtech. Jeff Rassmussen, Daniel Thompson,
John Garwood, Thomas White, Charles Garwood, Allen Thompson, and Kirk Setzer,

Ed de Torres reported that the
camp sign were not put up at LLDC and is still an on going project.
New Business
·
Adam Lutterloh made a motion to
make an Eswau Huppeday Bullion patch it will be sold on preorder with out
restriction at a cost of $25 each. Additional patch will be sold in the lodge
store at a cost $30 each. Final profit will support the new lodge storage
building. The motion was seconded and passed.
·
Adam Lutterloh made a motion to
make a 2003 Eswau Dixie flap, design to be given to the E-Board by Winter
Banquet, and they will decide other details as needed. This motion was
seconded and passed.
·
Jeff Rasmussen made a motion to
approve guidelines for a committee service award. Adam Lutterloh made motion
to table this till winter banquet. The motion to table was seconded and
passed.
·
Adam Lutterloh made a motion to
approve the 2003 Lodge Budget. The motion was seconded and passed. (SEE
ATTACHMENT)
·
Brandon Costner mad a motion to
make this years lodge theme Kung-fu-Eswau. The motion was seconded and passed.

Ben Cook made a statement that
lodge members will need to use the main parking lot in 2003, with no parking
around the dining room.

Thomas White made a motion to
approve the 2003 calendar. The motion was seconded and passed. (SEE
