The meeting was called to order
by Vice Chief Kenneth Pekarek.

The meeting was opened with the
Obligation of our Order.
·
The minutes were read, Thomas
White made the motion to approve the minutes with the following changes: Under
service Bradley Curtis needs to be changed to Curtis Bradley. The motion was
seconded and approved.

Treasure's Report - We have
$2,654.36 in checking and $23,501.81 in savings.
Committee Reports
·
Activities--Reported we had a
great year of activities. Suggestions for Fall Fellowship are welcomed.
Surfboard rules will be posted on the server. If you have any questions or
suggestions please send them to Brain Manuel.
·
Ceremonies--Reported we were
evaluated at NOAC and received honor medals. We did all the ceremonies this
weekend.
·
Cook Team--Reported anyone who
would like to join the team contact David Guynn.
·
Dance Team--Reported we won 1st
place at NOAC, we will meet at Pizza Hut in Lincolnton.
·
Drum Team--Reported we are
starting a Southern Drum anyone interested in joining see Brain Barrette, we
were evaluated at NOAC and got good Constructive criticism.
·
Service--2002 Service year was
great. Thanks to Mr. Barlowe, Mr. Cloninger, and all of the brothers who
worked on the campfire ring.

Camp Promotions--No Report?
·
Membership Development--We had a
great weekend. We had 13 Brother conversions and 29 Ordeal Candidates, a total
of 144 Ordeal Candidates for the year.

Allowelendam--We will meet this
Tuesday to elect new officers congrats to the 10 new ordeal members and 2
brothers.

Battleground--Meet in Shelby the
third Thursday of every month at First Baptist.

Gemstone--Meet on Wednesdays at
Troop 166 scout hunt Mooresville.

Heartland--Meet next Wednesday
at 7:00 at the LDS church

Tsungani--Meets 3rd Thursday
each month at First Baptist in Morganton at 7:00, we are assisting Table rock
with a booth at the Historic Morganton Festival.
Old Business
·
Thomas White--Reported that 53
brothers went to NOAC, where our Dance Team placed 1st for the 5th time.
Ceremonies won honor medals, honor website, 2 individual dancers placed in the
top 10 and we won the sprit award in our section.

Jeff Rassmussen--Reported that
summer camp OA cracker barrel was a great success.
·
Allen Thompson--Reported about
Webelos Bridging, he also reported about the OA food drive and the service
awards.
·
Ed de Torres--Reported camp
signs are here and look good, thanks goes to Bob Jenkins. Sprit Arrow Award
Requirements need to be completed by FF, he also reported the chapters need to
have chapter of the year requirements.

Jeff Rassmussen--Reported that
the bazaar was once again a great success and will be around next year.
New Business
·
Thomas White--made a motion to
allot $1,000 to the making of the Dance Team buckles. The motion was seconded
and passed.
·
Adam Lutterloh--made a motion to
allot $200 to have Hawaiian Ice for Fall Fellowship. The motion was seconded
and passed.
·
Jeff Whisenant--Reported the
weekend after MLK Holiday for CIS and that more Information would be coming.
·
Kevin Gantt--Reported that the
patch auction is coming up at Fall Fellowship.
·
