- The meeting was opened by the Obligation of our Order.
- The minutes were read and approved as amended.
- Treasurer’s report- $22, 947.99 in savings, $14, 013.63, and we
made $2, 625 patch auction.
Committee Reports
- Activities- We have had a good year with lots of fun activities.
- Ceremonies- We would like to give a special thanks to Jimmy Arthurs
for making a new box for the ceremony ring.
This year the Ceremony Team plans to compete at Dixie and also
NOAC. We would like to
field as many teams as possible.
If you are interested in being on a team please give your name
to Adam Lutterloh as soon as possible.
We did give a Brotherhood ceremony last night.

- Cook Team- no report
- Dance Team- New meeting at LDS church in Lincolnton at 7:30 on
Wednesday nights; if you are interested see Robert White.
- Drum Team- We are currently in the building process. We need members. There
will be a sign-up sheet on the front table, if you are interested
please sign up. We will
be rotating the places where me meet.

- Service- We rebuilt the fountain at Fall Fellowship. We have a new
chairman, Curtis Bradley.
- Camp Promotions- no report
- Membership Development- We had 3 new brothers achieve their
brotherhood this weekend, Matt Tudor, Austin Knight, and Paul Baird. We had 48 Brotherhood conversions this weekend and 136
Ordeal candidates.
- Training- Daniel Thompson is our new chairman.
We need new members if you are interested in joining the
Training committee see Daniel Thompson or Steve Brooks. LLDC will be Oct. 26-28 at Camp Bud Schiele it will be
$10.00. All brothers are
encouraged to come.
- Unit Elections- no report

Reports
- Allowelendam- We meet at the First United Methodist Church in
Gastonia on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 7:30.
- Battleground- We recently voted on Chapter officers: Curtis Bradley-
Chief, Bobby Bridges- vice chief. We meet at Scout Hut 101 in Shelby
every 3rd Thursday of the month.
- Apatschin Tschitani- We are looking to rebuild and regroup.
We have elected the following to our chapter officers:
Chapter chief- Michael Hadden, Vice Chief- Justin Perry, and
Sec- Ashdon Groves.
- Gemstone- We meet the third Wednesday of each month at the First
Presbyterian Church in Mooresville, in the Scout Hut at 7:30.
This month we will hold officer elections.
- Heartland- We need to get an active chapter started, see Chris
Horton for suggestions or questions.
- Lowaneu Watchseu- no report.
- Occonoluftee- We held chapter elections this weekend.
Joe Black is our new chapter chief. We still meet the First Thursday of every month at First
United Methodist Church in Conover at 7:00. We also had a member of our chapter Adam Lutterloh
receive his Vigil this weekend.
- Tsungani- Tsungani had one brother achieve his brotherhood this
weekend. At our August meeting we elected new chapter officers: Patrick Heavner- chief, Cody Williams- vice chief, and
T.J. Knaga- sec. Our
chapter met for dinner before coming to this event and we have a
canoeing trip planned for this fall and plan another racquetball
competition. We are
recruiting drummers and singers for the new made drum team, and other
participation in other groups in recommended and encouraged.
We are seeking to increase our participation in the lodge.
We meet the 3rd Thursday of every month at First
Baptist Church in Morganton.
Old
Business
- A new flap was decided on for our lodge, it is similar to an old
style with the two Indians.
- CIS is Jan. 25-27 at Mitchell Community College in Statesville.
This year the staff has to pay $10.

- Sells of the 25th Anniversary flaps used for NOAC
transportation or spirit.
- Motion made to have money from the sales of the 25th
Anniversary flaps used for transportation to NOAC.
The motion was passed.
- New Chapter of the Year requirements aren’t here.
- Five people obtained the Vigil Honor this weekend; Adam Lutterloh,
Shiela White, Bill Johnson, Kenneth Pekarek, and David Watson.
Congratulations.
- NOAC is coming up. Reservation
forms are available from Jimmy Arthurs or Joe Slade.
New
Business
- There was a motion made to make and place two signs on Highway 64
to tell the location of the camp, one going on to Centennial Road
and the other going on to Hudlow Road.
Upon approval of the Piedmont Council.
There was an amendment for a third sign to be placed on the
intersection of Rock and Hudlow.
- Motion to table motion. The motion failed.
- Motion made to assign details to Communications Committee.
The motion was passed.
- Motion made for 3 signs to be placed to tell where the camp is
passed but was tabled for discussion and necessary approval of the
council and community officials.
- Motion made to amend Article III Section C sentence one to remove
the words June Ordeal and insert the words Fall Fellowship, and in
sentence 2 remove Fall Fellowship to Fall Fellowship, and the shall
be installed at Fall Fellowship and insert Winter Banquet to Winter
Banquet. The amended
Section should read:
C. Lodge Officer shall be
elected by secret ballot at the Fall Fellowship.
The term for all Officers shall run from Winter Banquet to Winter
Banquet, and they shall be installed at Winter Banquet.
