Standing India Area
West of Franklin. Several Camping
Options in a remote area chock full of hiking opportunities.
Adjacent to the Southern Nantahala Wilderness Area and the
Appalachian Trail. Camping is available in the Standing Indian
campground, the Kinsey Creek Group Camp, or the Hurricane Creek
Primitive Camping Area. The first two are closed in the winter.
