About:
Stone Mountain is not immediately visible upon entering the park that bears its name, but this magnificent 600-foot granite dome is well worth the wait. Sunlight and shadows dance across a broad tapestry of stone.

Camping in family campground:
Non hookup sites: $15 per day, per site. $10 per day for senior citizens age 62 or older.
Hookup Sites: $20 per day per site. $14 per day for senior citizens age 62 or older.
Each site has a tent pad, table and grill. Drinking water and a washhouse with hot showers and laundry tubs are is nearby. Some sites have water and electric hookups. Use of dump station is free of charge to registered RV campers.
Backpack campsites: $9 per day, per site. Register at the backcountry camping parking lot.
Group campsites: $1 per person with an $9 minimum. Each site accommodates up to 25 people and has a fireplace, grill, tables, water and pit toilets. Reservations required.

Picnic shelter reservations
Eight-table shelter: $60 per day. Picnic tables, grills, a water fountain and restrooms provided.
Twelve-table shelter: $85 per day. Picnic tables, grills, a water fountain and restrooms provided.
Use of the picnic shelters is free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis unless reservations are requested.
Bullhead Stream fishing permit: $15 per section; strictly catch and release. Open year round from 8:30 a.m. until one hour before park closing. Barbless flies and nets required. Daily permit must be purchased at the Bullhead Creek parking area.
