Tent campsites:
Late April through late October, weather permitting: $15 per day, per site; $10 a day for senior citizens age 62 or older. A grill and picnic table is at each site. Restrooms nearby. 
Early November through mid to late April, weather permitting: Off-season camping with limited facilities. $9 per day. Water service not available to the campground during the off-season. Call the park office for more information. 

Picnic shelter reservations: $25 per day. Two shelters available. Each accommodates up to 16 people and has a fireplace. Drinking water and restrooms nearby. Use of the shelters is free of charge unless reservations are requested.

NOTICE: The Blue Ridge Parkway from Highway 80 to the park will be closed November 9, 2005, through April 28, 2006, due to construction of the twin tunnels. After November 9, 2005, the only access will be from Asheville. When the Blue Ridge Parkway temporarily closes due to severe weather, there will be no winter access to the public.
