The blue links require Adobe Reader which you can install by clicking here. The green links require internet access and are supplementary information such as park websites, e-mail addresses, and other relevant links. Navigating this CD: All the main links are on the home page to camping locations, resources, and information. You can use your browsers back key (or backspace as the default hotkey) to head backwards or use the bar at the bottom of each page that provides links to major categories including the home page. Finding State Parks: North Carolina State Parks have there own independent area. The North Carolina State Parks are divided into three section: Mountains, Piedmont, and Coastal Plain based on their location. For each North Carolina State Park you will find a park map and driving directions uploaded to the CD. Also information, activities, park fees, and links to the park website. Also in the North Carolina State Parks Section you will find Other North Carolina Camping Spots. These are just a couple of camping spots nearby that are bundled in that section for navigation ease. The South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Georgia State Parks are bundled into one section. Only a select few of State Parks from these areas are really assessable to Piedmont Council Troops so not all the parks are listed for that reason. Also listed with these state parks are other non-state park camping locations. Finding Attractions or Activities: For North Carolina there is an independent section that includes information of ski resorts and white water rafting and military bases. The other states attractions are bundled with the camping locations. Finding National Parks and Forests: All National Parks and Forests in North Carolina, South Carolina, or close proximity are included in this guide. Like the State Parks you will find three divisions made for geographic reasons and a list of all National Parks and Forests. | OA Info | Camp Bud Schiele | High Adventure | Resources | |
