The park’s 523 acres include a 160-acre lake, itself surrounded by a two-mile nature trail through the pine forest. Jon boat rentals are popular in the warmer months and the park also offers picnicking, camping, archery and a place to simply enjoy the serenity of the placid setting.
Things to do:
Hiking, boating, and fishing.
Editors Comment:
Chester State Park is a good campsite for younger campers. The open
fields provide great areas for sports and camporee practice.
