WEBELOS WOODS
Friday night we will help with the Webelos Woods at Cub World. Before
the start
of the webelos woods campfire the drum team and dance team will
perform. There
will be a graduation ceremony to welcome new boy scouts that are
moving up from
cub scouts. After the program there will be a cracker barrel.
TRAINING
There will be three separate training classes offered during each
training time
slot. Chose the ones that interest you so that you can learn some
information
to share with your troop or chapter. This is a great way to grow as a
scout.

DIXIE MEETING
Any one who is attending Dixie Fellowship or is interested in
attending should
be at this meeting. A plan for the greatness of our contingent will be
laid
out. All questions, comments, and concerns for dixie will be heard
here.
THE QUEST
We have tried to keep with the theme in our quest events. Each chapter
is
encouraged to participate. There will be an award for the chapter that
wins
each event. There will also be an award for the chapter that wins the
quest.
Remember this is all about chapter pride. Would you really like to see
another
chapter steal all the glory.
-2:00 Tricycle Race.... activity field (four contestants. timed event.
will
ride a relay style race through a marked course. must pass fraternity
paddle
to partners like a baton. fastest chapter wins. each chapter will be
responsible for supplying there own tricycle.)
-3:00 Fratastic Trivia....nature lodge (one contestant. each chapter
will
have a representative to answer trivia question relating to
fraternities and
movies of such related items. i.e. revenge of the nerds and animal
house)
-4:00 Youth vs. Adult Volleyball Game...activity field (all youth and
adults
are welcome to play. the old men vs the young buck please remember to
bring
your bats and gloves. this promises to be a lot of fun. remember
adults if
you do not show up we wont be able to have a very good game now will
we?)
ICE CREAM CONTEST
Bring your ice cream makers to dinner. The cook team would like to
remind
everyone that if you want desert you should participate in this
contest. After
dinner for desert we will eat home made ice cream. It is also a
contest to see
which chapter makes the best ice cream. All of the ice cream must be
churned
by hand or with an electric ice cream maker. So it is really about how
good it
is.
CRACKERBARREL FRAT PARTY
Everyone knows that frat boys like to get together and have a good
time. Well
isn't that what a fellowship is all about any way. Well we are going
to have a
frat party at the crackerbarrel. If you feel so inclined you can even
wear
your toga or maybe even your best looking frat boy clothes. If you are
part of
a fraternity you are encouraged to wear your fraternity letters. This
means
you Ed.
BUSINESS MEETING
Here is your chance. If there is something that our lodge does that
bothers you
here is your chance to be heard. Come to the business meeting. It is
where
all the business decisions regarding our lodge are made. If you ever
wondered
how things get done in the lodge; come to this meeting to find out.
