Lodge Attendance and Bead System

2000 Fall Fellowship Car Race |
Our Lodge maintains a bead system which was officially adopted by
the Lodge in 1978. We hope to foster greater participation and
attendance at chapter, lodge, section, and national Order of the Arrow
events by using this system. The beads are worn strung on leather
thongs, in an arrangement decided upon by the wearer. You are entitled
to wear the beads which represent those events in which you have
attended or participated. You will be able to look around you and see
who has been really active in our lodge by the beads which he will
proudly wear. The beads are usually for sale during normal lodge store
hours, and you may obtain a listing of eligible events and their
corresponding beads then. In addition, each of the chapters has its
own uniquely colored arrow head which is placed below the beads as the
first item on your thong. You may paint the sign of your
membership--Ordeal, Brotherhood, or Vigil--on each of your arrowheads.
